Meet Nompz: a young adult who has seen the power of God in her own life and is capturing her transition time to invest in God's Kingdom.

Nompz is our translation and video intern. She is half Motswana (from Botswana) and half Zulu (from South Africa). She grew up most of her life in South Africa, but concluded her high school here in Botswana. She is fluent in Zulu, Setswana, Afrikkans, English, and knows a bit of Swati. She grew up in church and values the power of the Bible in kids lives... and even more since she began partnering with us as a children's church leader a few months ago.

She is a dedicated children's world lesson leader, has been through (and invested invaluable input into) the youth leadership team, recently got baptized, is currently taking discipleship classes at church, and has an awesome future ahead of her.

We are soooooooooooo thankful for her.

Nompz works part time for us in the office, translating our curriculum into Setswana and video taping Setswana Bible lessons. On her own time, at her house or in town she continues studying lessons and translating.

We currently have a year and a half of English curriculum and six months translated into Setswana. We've completed 7 lessons filmed in Setswana and are continuing filming 2 lessons per week.

Nompz also assists us as we write curriculum. Her multicultural experience within Africa allows her to give great input. With her on board, we can pump out a month's worth of curriculum in 1 or 2 days (since we write curriculum one afternoon per week, this translates to a month every week or 2).

She's a great answer to prayer and we thank the Lord for each day we have her before she's off to university and looking toward the great things the Lord has ahead for her.
